Cantor got $10,000 from bank’s PAC Swiss-based UBS was fined by U.S. in tax-evasion matter Virginia Rep. Eric I. Cantor, R-7th, recently accepted $10,000 in campaign contributions from the political arm of Swiss bank UBS AG, just as the company was being fined for tax evasion. The UBS AG political action committee—UBS Americas Fund for Better Government—gave Cantor’s congressional campaign and his Every Republican Is Crucial PAC $5,000 each on Feb. 4 and Feb. 26, respectively.
