Bernanke sees signs of modest job market improvement

The U.S. job market is showing signs of modest improvement, Federal Reserve System chairman Ben Bernanke said today. The head of the nation’s central bank, speaking to a forum in Henrico County on workforce development, praised the efforts of community colleges in helping people get the training they need to find jobs and start businesses.
