Hopewell man charged with killing housemate

A Hopewell man has been charged with murder in yesterday’s fatal stabbing of his housemate, police said. William Henry Stringfield, 39, was charged with first-degree murder in the death of Lonnie Drumin, 57, who police said was fatally stabbed in the chest about 4:40 p.m. while standing near his vehicle outside his home in the 2300 block of Dellrose Drive. Drumin died after being transported to John Randolph Medical Center, police said.
